• You will undertake the SPS-side support of test setups locally within our own operations.
• You will configure and program Siemens components and see the testing of new technologies as an exciting challenge.
• You will create SPS programs, simulate them in-house, perform component tests, and subsequently roll out the programs at the customer's site.
• Following this, you will accompany the trial operation of the systems in our house and manage necessary corrections.
• The commissioning of the systems as well as service assignments at international customer sites are the next step.
• Carrying out the final acceptance of special machines together with international customers as well as the training of employees on-site form the project completion.
• You will support our adjacent specialist departments through your knowledge and your creativity.
• Analyzing, testing, and documenting developed measures is also part of your tasks.
• Furthermore, you will take over parts of the project documentation for customers as well as for the company itself.
• Participation in the development of new products and technologies as well as in continuous improvement processes round off your range of tasks.

• You have completed HTL training (Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or comparable).
• You possess manual dexterity and have experience in SPS controls (Siemens Simatic S7, TIA Portal).
• Knowledge in the areas of mechanics, mechatronics, control engineering, electrical engineering, and electronics is desirable.
• You are interested in foreign countries and cultures (willingness to travel at a level of approx. 60%) and have the flexibility for short-term assignments in case of malfunctions.
• You have an independent, responsible, and precise way of working and possess a hands-on mentality (readiness to step in wherever it is currently needed).
• You have good basic English skills (B2 level).

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 3,040.- gross per month (38.5 hours per week / KV for Metal Industry). Depending on the extent of travel activity, a monthly expense allowance of up to EUR 1,000.- net as well as bonuses up to an amount of EUR 1,000.- gross are added to the salary.
