Accounting and Tax Officer
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger management
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment and collection
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Monitor and ensure compliance with tax obligations, including income tax, value-added tax (VAT) and other regulatory requirements
Prepare and lodge tax returns and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Assist with tax planning and provide recommendations to minimise tax liabilities within legal parameters
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow monitoring
Support internal and external audit activities, providing necessary documentation and explanations
Maintain accounting policies and procedures, documenting transactions and ensuring adherence to internal controls
Liaise with tax authorities and external stakeholders on accounting and tax matters as required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or tax roles, preferably within a professional services or corporate environment
Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Excellent understanding of financial statement preparation and reconciliation processes
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and high accuracy in numerical work
Professional certification such as Brevet A or Brevet B taxation qualification is preferred
Solid communication skills in both Indonesian and English (written and verbal)
Knowledge of payroll processing and employee taxation is advantageous
