IT Infrastructure Architect (m/f/d)

We are looking for you as an enthusiastic and reliable employee (m/f/d) for one of our customers from the field of: mechanical engineering at the Augsburg location, at the earliest possible date, a committed and motivated personality to strengthen the team.

Your tasks:

• Design and implementation of secure, scalable and high-performance IT infrastructure solutions, including segmented architectures for various operating environments
• Ensuring that local architecture frameworks align with business requirements, while collaborating with the Cloud architecture team on cross-cutting infrastructure models
• Technical leadership in initiatives for modernization, automation and optimization of the infrastructure
• Collaboration with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Supervision of system integration, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure components
• Support of business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Guidance and mentoring of technical teams regarding best practice infrastructure procedures and new technologies

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL or Cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• At least 7-10 years of experience in the areas of IT infrastructure, system architecture or related fields.
• Proven experience in the design, implementation and management of enterprise-level IT infrastructures
• Experience in developing segmented infrastructure environments with secure zones for different operational requirements
• Good knowledge in the areas of networks, Cloud Computing, virtualization and security
• Fluent English skills
• Experience with hybrid IT environments (on-premises and in the Cloud) and network segmentation principles
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards
• Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong skills in the areas of analysis, communication and stakeholder management
