System Engineer // AIRBUS

• Holistic support and further development of the software development platform in the avionics environment (Plan, Build, Operate)
• Automation of provisioning with regard to configuration, packaging, and automated installation of the development environment using scripting and modern deployment tools
• Construction and operation of own infrastructure with a focus on the conception and administration of server landscapes to ensure independence and tool availability
• Conception, construction, and maintenance of a central tool and license database for the transparent management of software, costs, users, and contracts
• Technical analysis and control for problem-solving in the case of complex problems in the development environment, as well as the derivation of sustainable process improvements
• Monitoring and technical control of external service providers in the creation and maintenance of the tool landscape
• Monitoring, adjustment, and optimization of software design and requirement processes
• Implementation and optimization of a problem reporting system (e.g., via JIRA) for structured error analysis and service control
• Ensuring continuous availability through proactive license management, monitoring, procurement processes, and cost control
• Support in the integration of AI-supported engineering tools and software development processes
• Completed Master's degree in the field of Computer Science
• Several years of professional experience in the field of software development is desired
• Confident handling of relational databases (SQL) for modeling complex data structures must be present
• Proficient handling of workflow management tools (esp. JIRA) for process design is required
• Experience in the automation of infrastructure processes as well as in software packaging is necessary
• Experience in the operation and configuration of development systems as well as in the field of system and network technology is to be brought
• Detailed application knowledge in MS-Office is expected
• Business fluent English skills are mandatory - knowledge of German is an advantage
• High degree of pronounced process understanding
