Technical Raw Material Manager (f, m, d)
Your tasks
- Technical qualification and approval of global raw materials as well as new sources of supply for defined material groups.
- Ensuring a stable raw material supply of consistently high quality through specification management and close cooperation with suppliers.
- Identification, assessment, and management of quality, delivery, and compliance risks along the global supply chain.
- Handling technical queries and complaints, as well as developing sustainable solutions together with suppliers and producers.
- Further development and implementation of global raw material processes, standards, and best practices.
- Promoting international competence building in raw material management through coaching, training, and technical consulting for sites worldwide.

Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification, alternatively a chemical-technical training with corresponding professional experience
- Several years of experience in raw material management, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, or in a laboratory environment
- Practical experience in working with suppliers, for example in the areas of qualification, audits, complaint management, or technical development
- Ideally, sound knowledge of quality management as well as common methods and standards such as FMEA, DOE, IATF 16949, or VDA guidelines
- Confident appearance as well as the ability to represent and negotiate technical matters convincingly
- Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills, combined with an analytical, structured, and process-oriented way of working
- Very good written and spoken English skills for cooperation in an international environment
