Industrial Buyer M/F (M/F)

As part of our continuous development, we are looking for a Buyer M/F to contribute to our industrial performance in our production activity of aerial work platforms on carriers. This position is based in Ferrières-en-Brie (77) under a permanent contract (CDI).

Mission:

Directly reporting to the Group Purchasing Director, you will join a human-sized team to work on direct purchases for our industrial activity. Your missions will be as follows:

1- Analysis, sourcing and negotiation

• Analyze production needs, in connection with the design office and the supply chain, taking into account criteria of lead times, quality, as well as risks and contingencies that may affect orders;
• Manage calls for tender if necessary;
• Select, negotiate, and formalize contracts with suppliers with the assistance of the legal manager if necessary;
• Manage disputes, contractual aspects, and ensure the follow-up of the client relationship.

2- Order follow-up

• Monitor contractual compliance, resolve disputes (purchase non-conformity, invoicing) in connection with the Supply chain and Quality;
• Ensure reporting to the client and budgetary follow-up (invoices, payments);
• Monitor and update dashboards and performance indicators;
• Enter and update data in the ERP.

3- Monitoring and continuous improvement

• Perform regulatory, technological, and commercial monitoring;
• Participate in innovation/improvement projects with any internal stakeholder and/or suppliers.
• Having completed higher education in supply chain or purchasing management, you have at least 5 years of solid experience, ideally in the industrial sector.
• Your technical skills in purchasing management are recognized, both operationally and analytically.
• Proficiency in Pack Office and English (written/oral) will be required for the position.
• You are recognized for your ability to synthesize, your pragmatism, and your solution orientation. You enjoy challenges and know how to manage several files simultaneously.
