Are you commercially strong, socially skilled, and ready to truly step on the gas? Then this is your chance to work within the purchasing department of Kleyn. As a buyer of trucks, trailers & vans, you are the connecting link between Kleyn and our suppliers. You spot opportunities, build relationships, and know how to further expand existing contacts. As a buyer at Kleyn, you will be traveling domestically and abroad week after week. A good command of the English language is a must; a basic command of the French language is a plus. 🛠️ What will you do? You purchase vehicles in various European markets, including the French market. You actively search for suitable vehicles that fit within our inventory strategy.

Building and maintaining relationships You develop a strong network of suppliers, dealers, transport companies, leasing companies, and traders.

Negotiating and closing deals You conduct discussions regarding delivery terms, payment conditions, and other commercial agreements, including price agreements.

Assessing vehicles You perform an initial inspection of vehicles on-site or online regarding their visual and technical condition, maintenance history, mileage, and accompanying documentation.

Collaborating with colleagues You work closely with sales, transport, and product management to optimize inventory, margin, and turnover speed.

Handling administrative tasks You take care of the entire process from A to Z: from purchase to delivery. Additionally, you ensure that all accompanying documentation is in order, timely, and correct.

👌 Who are we looking for? You are at least 18 years old;

You possess a driving license B;

You have a commercial mindset and get energy from negotiating and relationship management;

You are socially skilled and easily build sustainable relationships;

You dare to take initiative;

You have knowledge of or an affinity with trucks, trailers, and Vans;

Experience as a buyer/seller is a plus, but not a requirement;

You have the ambition to further develop yourself within an international trading organization;

You have a good command of the English language; basic knowledge of the French language is a plus;

You can work well with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools;

You are independent, result-oriented, reliable, and flexible;

You are willing to be traveling abroad week after week.
