Quality Technician (m/f/d) Part Qualification

Your tasks with us:

• Planning and execution of initial sample qualifications - Development of inspection plans in coordination with the respective specialist departments
• Processing of notifications in SAP-QM, maintenance of SAP-QM master data
• Acceptance/inspection of initial sample parts, both in the plant and at the suppliers on-site
• Preparation, analysis, and documentation of measurement data
• Coordination of measures with involved departments (e.g., Purchasing, Production, Design, etc.)
• Follow-up of necessary measures with the supplier (e.g., via 8D-Report)
• Auditing of manufacturing processes
• Participation in new development and cost reduction projects
• Processing of supplier complaints (from production or from the field)
• Statistical evaluation of quality notifications as well as supplier reports
• Support in problem-solving workshops

What you bring with you:

• You have completed vocational training in a technical profession with further qualification as a Meister/Technician or a completed degree in the field of Maschinenbau
• You have a basic understanding of manufacturing and inspection processes in the metal-working industry. Initial experience in process audits is an advantage
• We require at least 3 years of experience in the field of supplier or part qualification
• You are able to perform standard measurement and inspection tasks independently
• You have experience with tactile and/or optical measurement systems (e.g., 3D scanner), including evaluation in Polyworks
• Basic knowledge of management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, ISO 14001 is an advantage
• You can confidently read drawings and technical specifications
• You apply quality methods such as Ishikawa, 8D
• You have experience in using SAP S4-HANA or comparable ERP systems
• You are familiar with MS Office and have business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• You are characterized by analytical thinking, a confident appearance, personal responsibility, team spirit, and diligence
• You have a willingness to undertake national and international travel
