Content Specialist
Act as Content PIC for the ad-hoc "Patungan untuk Hutan" task force (cross-functional team with Program and Account Executive): develop weekly content plans, produce daily content, and plan flagship content production.
Act as Content Specialist for Kitabisa's exclusive original content, including the "The Believers / Meet the Social Movers" documenter series: develop daily content plans, produce daily original Kitabisa content, and produce content production directly in the field (interviews, shoots, editing).
Deliver a minimum daily output of 2 pieces of content (storytelling, social issues, environmental issues, and other formats as required by campaign needs).
Represent the Brand Communication CF team within the Patungan untuk Hutan task force, coordinating with Program, Content Partnership, and Account Executive teams.
Share operational/admin resourcing with the Social Media Lead
Uphold Kitabisa's communication principles (data-driven, empathetic, honest, no overclaiming, credit to collaborators) across all produced content.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Content Specialist, Content Writer, or Content Creator, with a focus on storytelling for social impact, environmental issues, or mission-driven organizations (mid to senior level).
- Proven ability to sustain daily content production (minimum 2 content/day), from research and copywriting through to basic visual execution.
- Strong, versatile copy-based writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with an empathetic and data-grounded narrative style.
- Comfortable working in the field: able to conduct interviews, capture documentation, and do quick editing (photo/video) independently.
- Familiar with basic content/editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Lightroom, or similar).
- Able to work cross-functionally across Program, Partnership, and Account Executive teams within an ad-hoc/task-force structure.
- Understands ethical storytelling principles (safeguarding, avoiding overclaiming, crediting collaborators), particularly important for sensitive topics like environmental and public-issue content.
- Based in Jabodetabek, willing to work hybrid from the office and travel to program locations when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field is a plus (not mandatory).
