Overall Rigging Coordinator

Working location:

Petrochemical oil/gas plants

Key responsibilities

Ensure all tools, lifting tackles, and equipment used at the site are inspected and have valid calibration/test certificates. The validity of calibration should not be less than 6 months from the mobilization date, as per "Ready to Use" certificate.

Maintain availability of certifications and test documents at the site for inspection by competent authorities at any point in time.

Supervise crane marching and heavy mobile equipment movement, ensuring that a rigger is present at both the front and the rear to prevent accidents.

Coordinate with the logistics coordinator for new rigging requirements and for any additional certification or calibration needed, as required by the latest regulations.

Promote and ensure safe rigging practices aligned with national and international best practices.

Requirements

Qualification: Minimum required certification in rigging as per applicable regulations.

Experience: At least 15 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 10 years specifically in rigging activities within petrochemical or oil and gas plant environments.

Competency: Demonstrated expertise and competency in rigging activities.

Certification: Must be qualified/certified under relevant regulatory requirements and approved by the governing safety and technical authority.

Language: Fully fluent in English.
