Role: AV Event Technician – L1 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Hong Kong Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience), plus company benefits Interview Process: 2-stage (Virtual and Face-to-face) Hours: Monday – Friday – 40 hours (rotational shifts; 8am - 5pm,10am - 7pm)

Exciting new opportunity has arisen for a proven AV Events Technician, to join a well-known globally recognised business, to manage and oversee the delivery of the on-site event services between Kinly and our client.

The position involves a high degree of client contact, often working with executive management and managing directors to provide best in class services across all Audio Visual-related parts of event services.

Key responsibilities: Video/audio conference set-up and support

Site certification of all new and relocated video conference systems

Carrying out video conference software updates

Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing problems - investigate faults and recommending further actions to rectify

Supporting virtual events

Building and maintaining client relationships, advising clients on best practice, technical risks and potential procedural

Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order

AV equipment set-up and support

Presentation/multi-media meeting room support, including duration support

Assisting with support for multi-media broadcasting

Providing quick response to emergency/ad-hoc requests

Carrying out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure

Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly

Assisting with first line fault repairs

Carrying out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments

Skills and experience: Proven experience working in a similar role,

Good knowledge of technical systems, such as WebEx, Zoom and Teams

Confident and credible communicator

Fluency in both Cantonese and English
