Senior Software Implementation Consultant (POS Module Expert )

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the full-lifecycle implementation of the ERP "POS module," including in-depth requirements analysis, business solution design, system configuration, testing ,data migration, go-live, and post-implementation support; resolve complex scenarios and challenging issues related to the POS module. 2. Engage with client middle and senior management to identify pain points in chain retail operations, develop actionable solutions, and drive their implementation.
2. Prepare and review core project documentation for the POS module, including requirements, solution designs, test plans, cutover plans, and user manuals.
3. Design training programs and conduct training for key client users and store staff; address complex business and system-related inquiries.
4. Manage project progress, quality, and risks for POS-related modules; resolve business, system, and integration issues through to closure; capable of independently delivering small-to-medium projects and assisting in the management of concurrent projects.
5. Collaborate with teams managing OMS, distribution, finance, and inventory modules to implement system integrations; document POS implementation best practices; participate in post-incident reviews and provide optimization recommendations.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English, capable of independently liaising with local clients in Singapore.
2. 3+ years of experience in retail ERP/SaaS implementation, focusing on POS modules, with a track record of successfully delivering end-to-end chain retail projects; experience in sectors such as footwear/apparel, home goods, FMCG, beauty/cosmetics, jewelry, or food is preferred; familiarity with integrated POS, OMS, distribution, membership, and finance workflows; local Singapore retail project experience isa plus; capable of independently leading POS module delivery, with practical experience in managing and delivering small-to-medium projects.
3. Proficient in MySQL databases and SQL queries, capable of performing data troubleshooting and validation; proficient in Microsoft Office, capable of independently drafting business solutions, cutover plans, and other project documentation.
4. Expert knowledge of core retail POS business processes (checkout, promotions, membership, stocktaking, stock transfers, reconciliation/settlement); familiar with integration logic between POS and upstream/downstream systems; capable of independently conducting business analysis and formulating solutions; well-versed in ERP implementation methodologies, UAT, data migration, and cutover processes; familiarity with POS hardware setup and debugging is a plus.
5. Excellent client communication and coordination skills, capable of engaging with client management; skilled in requirements elicitation and problem analysis/resolution; PMP certification is a plus.
