Registered Veterinary Technician (2 Positions Available)

*King Hopkins Pet Hospital* is looking for *two Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs)* to join our growing team! *New graduates are encouraged to apply.*

We are a busy, multi-doctor *24-hour* hospital providing both emergency and general practice services. We care for cats, dogs, pocket pets, and exotics. While we are a fast-paced emergency hospital, we also have a loyal client base that trusts us with their pets' routine care?because who doesn't love a puppy or kitten vaccine appointment?

Our hospital is fully equipped with:

• Digital radiography
• Hands-free radiology protocols
• Cold laser therapy
• In-house IDEXX laboratory, including SediVue and blood gas analyzers
• Dental radiography
• Ultrasound

Our RVTs play an integral role in patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Placing IV catheters
• Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
• Performing dental cleanings and charting
• Collecting blood and urine samples for analysis
• Assisting veterinarians with appointments and procedures
• Performing hands-free radiographs
• Providing compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients

Scheduling

As a *24-hour hospital*, we are looking for team members who are available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

We value a healthy work-life balance and strive to offer flexible scheduling whenever possible to accommodate your preferences. Our standard shifts are *10 hours*, with *12-hour shifts* also available for those who prefer them.

We are currently hiring for:

• *Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician* who is available to work a flexible schedule, with a primary focus on overnight shifts.
• *Registered Veterinary Technician* who is available to work a flexible schedule, including a combination of day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting wage: *$25.00-$29.00 per hour*, based on experience
• Wage review following the 3-month probationary/training period
• Overnight premium paid for hours worked after *12:00 a.m.*

• Veterinary Technician with relevant experience will also be considered
