Finance Business Partner

Job description

A reputable and well-established pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a finance business partner to be based in Dubai.

Applicants must have proven work experience in the country where the role is based. Candidates who have relocated within the last 12 months will not be considered.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the Gulf region, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with regional and country leadership, commercial teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support strategic business decisions.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets, providing regular analysis of revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Prepare and present timely financial reports, business performance reviews, and actionable insights to senior management.
• Identify and investigate financial variances, assess business drivers, and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, management reporting, and variance analysis.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, with mandatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience supporting commercial operations and financial performance across multiple Gulf markets.
• Experience partnering with senior management and cross-functional teams to support strategic and commercial decisions.
