Business Unit Director

Kinetic has partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company who are hiring a business unit director to be based in Dubai.

Applicants must have proven work experience in the country where the role is based. Candidates who have relocated within the last 12 months will not be considered.

Main responsibilities

Develop and execute the business strategy across the Gulf market

Drive P&L performance, business growth, and commercial excellence

Translate market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and evolving treatment landscapes into actionable strategies

Lead and integrate sales and marketing strategies

Drive successful product launches and lifecycle management

Lead cross-functional collaboration and external stakeholder engagement

Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing and diverse team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred

Significant senior-level commercial leadership experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

Extensive oncology experience is essential

Strong scientific understanding of oncology, including disease biology, treatment paradigms, clinical data, and evolving treatment landscapes

Proven P&L ownership and commercial leadership experience

Strong understanding of Gulf healthcare systems, market access dynamics, payer environments, and regulatory frameworks
