Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (ACMV) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of ACMV works for a major infrastructure project in Singapore.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Project Engineer in coordinating and supervising ACMV installation works on site.
2. Review engineering drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
3. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and material deliveries.
5. Assist in material requisitions, quantity tracking, and project documentation.
6. Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and prepare meeting minutes.
7. Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handover activities.
8. Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
9. Provide engineering support for site coordination and resolve technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
10. Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Project Engineer.

Job Requirements

1. Knowledge of HVAC / ACMV systems will be an advantage.
2. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
4. Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
5. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
6. TUAS areas (Transport provided for designated MRT station to site office)

Salary

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
