About the company

Implant Crowns & CAD/CAM at Kim’s Dental Kim’s Dental is expanding its digital dentistry capabilities, and we’re looking for a Dental Lab Technician with hands-on experience in implant crowns and CAD/CAM workflows to join our team. This role focuses on the digital design and fabrication of implant restorations, working closely with our dentists to achieve accurate fit, function and aesthetics.

Your tasks

• Design implant crowns, including screw-retained restorations, from intraoral scans and scanbody data.

• Review digital impressions and laboratory prescriptions, and clarify case requirements with our dentists.

• Work with appropriate implant libraries, scan bodies and compatible titanium bases (Ti-bases).

• Pay close attention to emergence profiles, proximal contacts, occlusion and screw-access positions during design.

• Handle CAM preparation, nesting and milling, followed by sintering, finishing, staining and glazing where applicable.

• Perform quality checks on completed restorations before delivery.

• Coordinate case turnaround times and maintain organised digital case records.

• Carry out routine care and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

• Relevant dental laboratory experience, particularly in implant crown fabrication.

• Proficiency in exocad, 3Shape or similar dental CAD software.

• A good understanding of implant components, digital impression workflows and zirconia processing.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.

• The ability to manage case priorities, troubleshoot production issues and communicate clearly with dentists.

• A willingness to learn and develop as our digital workflows grow.

Experience managing the workflow from digital design through to milling and finishing will be an advantage.
