Company Overview Kim Hua Construction Pte Ltd is an established A2 (going to A1) construction firm in Singapore dedicated to delivering high-quality building and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Purchaser to join our team and take charge of commercial and contract management across our exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing & Tendering: Source, invite, evaluate, and compare quotations and tenders from subcontractors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and specialized trade works to support project procurement. Cost Analysis & Evaluation: Perform detailed cost comparisons, quantity take-offs, and budget analyses against allowances and market trends to optimize company cost-efficiency and ensure informed decision-making. Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions with vendors to secure competitive terms and strong contractual clauses. Procure & Documentation: Prepare, draft, and finalize Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all purchasing documentation and information are fully updated. Delivery & Order Monitoring: Monitor outstanding orders, track delivery schedules, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time project execution and delivery. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers and subcontractors. Management Support: Provide accurate purchasing and cost reports to management and handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in purchasing. Technical Knowledge: Strong background in construction-sector procurement and local supply chain networks across Singapore. Soft Skills:  Good in negotiation, assertive communication, and excellent problem-solving skills to manage site-wide compliance effectively.
