Account Manager
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to fully oversee our financial, inventory, and accounting operations. The primary focus of this role is precise inventory management, product costing across multi-SKU categories, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Costing Management (Core Focus): Monitor inventory movements across all categories (switches, sockets, bulbs, LED panels, exhaust fans, ceiling fans, wiring, etc.). Oversee periodic and annual physical inventory counts, reconcile variances (shortages/surpluses) with the ERP system, and manage slow-moving/dead stock reports. Calculate accurate landed product costs (import/purchase price + shipping + customs + operational expenses). Financial Management & Team Supervision: Fully supervise the accounting department, daily treasury operations, and bank transactions. Review daily ledger entries, trial balances, and ensure accurate accounting records. Payables, Receivables & Pricing: Manage supplier accounts (factories & wholesalers), debt settlements, and damaged goods returns. Oversee client accounts (retail shops, electricians, contractors), credit policies, and collections. Participate in developing pricing strategies, discounts, and promotional offers to secure target profit margins per product category. Reporting, Taxation & Internal Controls: Prepare monthly financial statements, product/category profitability analyses, cash flow statements, and budgets. Take full ownership of e-Invoicing compliance, VAT returns, Income Tax, and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities. Implement internal control systems to prevent fraud in warehouses, treasury, and sales, and oversee ERP integration with POS systems
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting. Experience: 7 to 10 years of overall accounting experience, with at least 3 years as an Accounting Manager in wholesale/trading companies (Electrical, Lighting, or Sanitary Ware sectors preferred). Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of multi-SKU inventory accounting, landed costing, and pricing models. ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with ERP software (specifically Odoo, Daftra, or SAP Business One). Taxation: Strong working knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and the Egyptian e-Invoicing portal.
