Football Coach

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable Football coach for our after school club in Bexleyheath. If successful, you will be working with mixed ability children in a Primary School, either assisting the lead coach and/or leading your own session. If your experience is limited, you will mainly be assisting, shadowing the lead coach and taking on small tasks to improve your ability as a coach, helping you eventually being able to lead your own group.

Key responsibilities; Plan and deliver high quality Football coaching sessions (dependent on experience and role) Work well alongside and/or support other coaches Add to the positive and enjoyable environment Support players in their Football development Demonstrate high standards of punctuality, behaviour and professionalism

Desirable requirements; Experience in coaching (or playing at a good standard) Football or other Sports Experience in working with children Enjoyment in working with children Qualifications in coaching Football or other Sports Reliable and punctual Living/ studying/ working near by Currently hold a valid in date DBS

Job position key details; Located in Bexleyheath Pay dependent on experience, qualifications and ability Session time is 3.30-4.30pm every Friday during the school term. Expected to arrive at least 15 minutes early to prepare their session or assist other coaches in preparing their session Working with chiildren aged between 5-11 years old Opportunities to progress, working with other clubs/sports Help in professional development, working alongside experienced coaches and potential assistance in gaining coaching qualifications
