We are looking for a freelance mechanical engineer capable of supporting hardware development on the projects entrusted to them. In this context, the responsibilities will be:

• Definition of project needs, based on the client
• Industrial design of mechanical and mechatronic products in collaboration with other electronics and software disciplines
• Prototyping, testing, and functional integration
• Creation of industrial files: specifications, 2D drawings, and justification (design review, tolerance stack-up, simulation…)
• Product industrialization monitoring: DFx, supplier monitoring, choice of production methods, tooling setup, and launch of pre-series & series production.
• Monitoring of certification and design validation
• Being proactive in proposing action plans and knowing how to defend them with passion
• Being the Guarantor of the quality of established processes and compliance with current HSE standards
• Participation in the definition of eco-design and industrial relocation approaches
• Participation / implementation of product life cycle analyses to improve the CSR impacts of products
• Implementation of eco-design analysis guidelines in product developments

Profile sought:

• Hold an engineering degree or a master's degree (equivalent to bac +5) in mechanics
• Have participated in the development of a complex product including mechanics, electronics, and software
• Have worked within the framework of product industrialization
• Have skills in mechanical design
• Master CAD software such as Solidworks, Creo, Catia….
• Be inventive when facing difficulties and proactive in searching for solutions
• English is necessary
