Effective immediately, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer in the field of Palletizing Technology (m/f/d) for our "Mechanical Design" department at our Worms location.

Location: Worms / Rheinland-Pfalz

Your tasks:

• Design and construction of packing and palletizing machines for filling and packaging technology
• Development and design of handling systems for robot applications - e.g., gripper systems
• Independent technical clarification with adjacent specialist departments (mechanics, electrical engineering, automation)
• Design and further development of existing machine and plant parts
• Design and construction of mechatronic and mechanical functional assemblies
• Creation of individual part drawings, assemblies as well as bills of materials and design documentation
• Support of machines during assembly and commissioning

Your requirements:

• Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering or comparable (alternatively, further training as a Mechanical Engineering Technician with corresponding practical experience)
• Several years of experience in design within mechanical or plant engineering
• Experience in the development and design of machine components
• Confident handling of CAD systems (e.g., Creo / ProE) as well as PDM systems
• Knowledge in handling SAP (e.g., bills of materials) is an advantage
• Good English skills in an international working environment
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as ability to work in a team
