We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (m/f/d) for our "Filling Technology" product center at our Bad Kreuznach location, effective immediately.

Location: Bad Kreuznach / Rheinland-Pfalz

Your tasks:

• Product development from conception to series production in close coordination with adjacent specialist departments
• Creation and maintenance of machine programs, taking into account customer-specific requirements as well as internal standards and norms
• Development and implementation of machine control and visualization software
• Creation of technical documents such as requirement specifications and functional specifications, as well as coordination with suppliers
• Ensuring the functionality of components and process sequences through simulation, tests, and validations
• Support during commissioning at the plant and at the customer, especially for new developments and product launches
• Project planning, reporting, controlling, and documentation according to the specifications of the Product Development Process (PEP)
• Coordination and technical leadership of project teams within a development project
• Creation of technical documentation

Your requirements:

• Successfully completed technical studies in the field of Electrical Engineering / Computer Science, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics
• Know-how in applied process technology
• Good knowledge of Siemens S7 TIA Portal, SIMOTION/TIA-Motion, machine safety & Rockwell/RS Logix 5000
• Confident handling of PLC programming according to EN61131
• Reliability, strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as an independent, solution-oriented way of working
• Joy of innovation, interdisciplinary thinking, and willingness to take on responsibility
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form as well as international willingness to travel
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office, SAP, and JIRA
