We are looking for a Department Manager (m/f/d) for the Assembly Filling Technology department for our Bad Kreuznach location, effective immediately.

Location: Bad Kreuznach / Rheinland-Pfalz

Your tasks:

• Management of the Assembly Filling Technology department
• Leadership, qualification, training, and coaching of employees
• Ensuring manufacturing performance in terms of delivery reliability and delivery capability, as well as efficiency throughout the entire assembly process
• Resource-based order planning
• Schedule control of external partners for the installation of machines within the plant
• Continuous initiation and implementation of measures to increase efficiency and reduce error costs
• Cooperation with logistics during technical order completion and the clearing of production supply areas
• Active design of and participation in Shop-Floor Management
• Definition and description of workflows (technical and procedural)
• Implementation of tools, methods, and processes from the production system, occupational safety, and QM
• Coordination interface to Design and Commissioning
• Coordination with assembly managers of sister plants and international production sites
• Active support and co-design of portfolio expansions in international production sites
• Conducting customer appointments for machine acceptance

Your requirements:

• Successfully completed technical further training as a Meister (m/f/d) or Techniker (m/f/d), preferably a completed engineering degree with a focus on production management
• Several years of professional experience in the areas of assembly or manufacturing
• Leadership, planning, and organizational competence as well as assertiveness and the ability to motivate employees
• Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills
• Proficient English skills
• Good knowledge of SAP; MS Office applications, as well as Lean and project management methods
• Strong willingness to travel worldwide
