Kitchen Staff
Responsibilities:
Assist with washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and preparing ingredients.
Support cooks and chefs during meal preparation and service.
Clean and sanitise workstations, utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas.
Assist with receiving, arranging, and storing food supplies.
Ensure ingredients are properly labelled and stored.
Support proper stock rotation and minimise food wastage.
Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout kitchen operations.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Carry out other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience working in a hotel, restaurant, catering business, or commercial kitchen is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Previous experience handling kitchen equipment is an added advantage.
