Job Summary
Join KGC Logistics Services as an Airport Cargo Assistant / Cargo Handler to support air cargo operations through safe handling, sorting, and warehouse duties in a team-oriented environment with shift work.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload air cargo efficiently to support timely flight operations
- Sort, move, and arrange cargo to optimize storage and retrieval processes
- Assist with inbound and outbound cargo operations to ensure smooth logistics flow
- Perform general cargo and warehouse duties to maintain operational readiness
- Handle cargo safely and correctly to prevent damage and ensure compliance
- Follow workplace and airport safety procedures to maintain a secure environment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment to support health and safety standards
- Complete operational duties assigned by supervisors to meet daily targets and requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Physically fit to perform hands-on cargo handling tasks safely and effectively
- Able to commit to 12-hour shifts and work 4 days per week with 3 days off
- Able to work day and night shifts according to roster demands
- Meet applicable airport security and clearance requirements for access
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn to adapt quickly to operational needs
- Demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
