Citrix System Engineer (f/m/d) (IT System Administrator)

What awaits you

• You are responsible for the setup, operation, and continuous further development of the Citrix system landscape, particularly for Citrix VDI as well as Citrix ADC/NetScaler platforms.
• This means you undertake process activities within the framework of the Service Lifecycle with a focus on Service Operation for Citrix infrastructure components.
• Additionally, you take care of providing and expanding services, taking into account functional as well as non-functional requirements in cooperation with System Design.
• Furthermore, you coordinate system administration tasks in defined processes, including monitoring service performance and ongoing optimization within the framework of Event Management.
• Moreover, you analyze problem situations, fix errors, and work in 2nd Level Support, up to initiating escalations, systematizing errors, and initiating improvements for error prevention.

What you bring with you

• You have studied IT and Telecommunications or Banking (Bachelor) or possess a comparable qualification and several years of practical experience.
• You are very familiar with the provision and operation of Citrix VDIs and Citrix ADC/NetScaler.
• The setup and operation of Citrix system and server infrastructure is also familiar to you (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Storefront).
• You possess know-how in the analysis and optimization of Citrix architectures as well as knowledge regarding VMware, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Powershell.
• ITILv3 is as familiar to you as agile methods, and you are also familiar with security/regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
• You can lead projects, are characterized by your ability to abstract, think creatively as well as analytically-conceptually, and are proficient in English.
