We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with exposure to or interest in the automotive sector to support our dealership, workshop, and vehicle trading finance operations. You will handle sales & service invoicing, vehicle cost tracking, parts & inventory accounting, GST compliance, and daily financial transactions — ensuring accuracy across vehicle sales, after-sales service, spare parts, and fleet-related revenue streams.

Vehicle Sales & Dealership Accounting

  • Record vehicle procurement costs, import duties, logistics, and preparation expenses; reconcile unit costs against stock records
  • Track customer deposits, progress payments, and final settlements; reconcile sales proceeds with banks and finance partners
  • Manage trade-in vehicle valuations and related accounting entries

General Finance & Compliance

  • Process accounts payable (vendor payments, staff expenses, overheads) and accounts receivable follow-ups
  • Perform bank & credit card reconciliations; record all daily transactions in accounting system (Xero/Sage/MYOB/SAP)
  • Assist with GST filing — correctly code revenue by type (sales, service, parts, exports) and claim input tax appropriately
  • Maintain fixed asset register for company vehicles, workshop equipment, and showroom assets
  • Assist with payroll, CPF, and statutory contributions; prepare schedules for monthly management accounts
  • Support year-end audit and stock count procedures for vehicle and parts inventory

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years accounting experience; prior exposure in automotive, dealership, or trading environments is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards, GST, and statutory requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software; experience with automotive ERP/dealership management systems is an advantage
  • Understanding of automotive business flows: vehicle registration, COE/ARF, trade-ins, service billing, and parts inventory
  • Meticulous with numbers, strong accuracy, and ability to meet month-end deadlines
  • Good communication skills to liaise with sales, workshop, suppliers, and customers

What we offer

  • Standard office hours, Monday–Friday; occasional support during month-end/peak periods
  • Salary range: S$2,500 – S$4,500/month (commensurate with experience & qualifications)
  • Benefits: Medical coverage, annual leave, performance bonus, training support
