SerVantage Services is seeking a dependable Part-Time Cleaner to help maintain clean, safe and welcoming facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect washrooms, replenish supplies and maintain high-touch surfaces.
• Dust furniture, fixtures and accessible surfaces; clean glass, mirrors and stainless steel.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and remove garbage and recycling.
• Complete detailed cleaning, carpet spot cleaning and scheduled floor maintenance.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors and floor machines, after appropriate training.
• Move furniture or supplies as required, using safe lifting practices and assistance when needed.
• Follow site schedules, cleaning procedures and quality standards.
• Handle cleaning products safely and follow WHMIS, PPE and workplace safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment before use and report hazards, damage, maintenance needs and supply shortages.
• Complete required cleaning and safety records and communicate with the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is an asset; training will be provided.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to understand instructions, product labels and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform duties involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting, with reasonable accommodation where required.
• Availability to work the assigned part-time schedule.
• Willingness to complete any screening required for the assigned site.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
