G2 Gas Technician ? High-Efficiency Boiler Installer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced G2 Gas Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, with strong experience in the installation of high-efficiency boilers and hydronic heating systems.

This is a hands-on position suited for a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, pipe, and commission high-efficiency boilers

• Install and service hydronic heating systems

• Perform gas piping and appliance connections in accordance with applicable codes

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and installation specifications

• Complete start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of boiler systems

• Diagnose and resolve installation and equipment issues

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with TSSA requirements and applicable Ontario codes

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades

• Complete required job documentation and service reports

Requirements

• Valid G2 Gas Technician certification in Ontario

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Gas Technician

• Proven experience installing high-efficiency boilers

• Strong knowledge of hydronic heating systems

• Ability to read drawings and understand piping layouts

• Knowledge of Ontario gas codes and safety requirements

• Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Professional attitude and good communication skills
