Singapore | Advanced Semiconductor & Photonics Technology An emerging technology company is seeking an experienced Silicon Photonics Design Engineer/Lead to develop next-generation photonic integrated circuits (PICs) for advanced computing and optical communications.

Your tasks

Lead PIC design, simulation, layout and tapeout activities involving waveguides, modulators, photodetectors and integrated optical components. Collaborate with electronics, packaging and testing teams on device integration, silicon validation, performance optimisation and manufacturability.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics or a related discipline, with preferably 5 years of relevant silicon photonics PIC design experience. Proficiency in Lumerical, COMSOL, KLayout, Cadence or equivalent tools. Experience with foundry PDKs, GDS layout, DRC/LVS and tapeout processes. Exposure to WDM, optical transceivers or heterogeneous integration is advantageous.
