Senior OutSystems Engineer

Introduction

Our client, an organization in Singapore’s education sector, is hiring a Senior OutSystems Engineer to join its Technology function and support its ongoing digital transformation. As the OutSystems subject matter expert, you will play a hands-on role in designing and delivering digital solutions that improve services and user experiences across the organization.

Responsibilities

You will lead the solution design and development of scalable, maintainable applications on the OutSystems platform, covering both web and mobile solutions. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will translate operational needs and pain points into practical technical solutions, define appropriate delivery measures, and guide projects from solutioning and effort estimation through development and implementation. You will also troubleshoot application issues, support deployed solutions, and contribute to improvements across the wider technology landscape, including infrastructure, networking, authentication, and third-party integrations.

Requirements

You should have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong hands-on expertise in OutSystems ODC, .NET, C#, SQL, and database modeling is required, together with working knowledge of JavaScript and CSS. Relevant OutSystems certifications is a plus. You should also have experience with authentication and identity technologies such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, Microsoft Entra ID, and SSO, as well as exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace integrations. Experience with OutSystems AI capabilities such as Agent Workbench and Mentor, Agile delivery, mobile application development, systems integration, and production support will be valuable. Exposure to Workato, enterprise SaaS platforms, PDPA, cybersecurity, UiPath, or automated testing tools would be advantageous.
