Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

A Singapore-headquartered Data Center Infrastructure & Engineering organization is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and strengthen its IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, network, endpoint security, and day-to-day technology operations.

Responsibilities

You will administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint, while managing user accounts, licenses, permissions, MFA, privileged access, and security alerts. You will support the full employee account lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding and maintain accurate system and operational documentation.

The role also covers the administration and monitoring of firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity, and wider network infrastructure, including vendor coordination when incidents arise. You will monitor network availability and performance, review security and endpoint protection alerts, track patch compliance and device health, and perform initial investigation and escalation of security incidents.

In addition, you will maintain IT asset inventories and network diagrams, manage IT support tickets and vendor cases, and support infrastructure projects and continuous improvements.

Requirements

You should have a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and end-user support. Practical experience administering Microsoft 365 is essential, including Microsoft Entra ID and related identity and access management activities.

You should have sound networking knowledge and experience working with Palo Alto firewalls, including areas such as VPN and SSO, together with exposure to endpoint management and security. Experience supporting call center environments or familiarity with call center technology platforms would be advantageous.

The role requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to investigate issues systematically, identify root causes, and develop practical recommendations for management consideration.
