Context
The International Finance Department is recruiting an international management controller for the Northern Europe zone (Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, turnover of approx. €900M).
This position is dedicated to performance management and investment monitoring for the General Management of the Northern Europe Business Unit (BU) and our shareholders.
It also interfaces with many stakeholders at Headquarters (Group Finance Department, Accounting Department, Financing & Treasury Department...), and our subsidiaries (subsidiary financial directors and management controllers).
The position is based at the Group headquarters, in La Défense / Courbevoie.
Occasional travel (maximum 2 times per year) within Europe is to be expected.
Missions
Within a team of 5 people, you will join a stimulating work environment combining transformation and development. In this position, you will be responsible for:
Driving the management cycle (acting as a relay for monthly closing instructions and the budgeting process) and managing financial results based on key indicators (turnover, EBIT, Operating Free Cash Flow) through demanding and continuous management dialogue, in close proximity to local finance teams
Contributing to all projects or analyses aimed at the continuous improvement of our financial management
Coordinating, synthesizing, and presenting investment reporting via our new EPM tool Pigment, for all our international subsidiaries. This involves being the tool's referent for our international users and the central team (International Finance Department) and understanding the accounting standards applicable to our investments (IFRS16, IFRIC12) in coordination with the Consolidation department
Profile
Master's degree (business school, engineering school, or university equivalent); you have acquired at least 2 years of experience in audit, or transaction services, in the consulting world; or at the headquarters of an international group, within a finance department (management controller, financial analyst, project financing...)
Fluent English (spoken and written), as all documentation and interactions with subsidiaries are conducted in English
Perfect mastery of the Office Pack (including advanced Excel)
Knowledge of one or more of the following tools is a plus: SAP BFC (financial consolidation), Power BI (visualization), Pigment (EPM).
