Health and Safety

Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a leading organisation in Croydon. The scope of this role will be to help maintain a safe, compliant and proactive working environment across the warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Duties

• Conduct and review risk assessments, workplace inspections and safety audits across offices, depots, vehicles and operational activities.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses , identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies and safe systems of work .
• Deliver and coordinate health & safety inductions, training and refresher programmes .
• Maintain accurate H&S records, reports and safety observations , while promoting a strong safety culture across the organisation.

Experience & Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate
• 2–3 years' practical experience in a Health & Safety Officer, Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience in freight, transport, logistics, warehouse or similar operational environment is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in risk assessments, workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Good knowledge of UK health & safety legislation, with strong communication, reporting and organisational skills.
• Must live within commutable distance of Purley/Croydon
