What You’ll Lead

• Full ownership of end-to-end payroll across monthly and weekly cycles for 1,250 employees.
• Delivery of accurate, compliant payroll with strong controls and audit readiness.
• System and process improvements – streamline workflows, enhance automation, and modernise reporting.
• Management of benefits programmes including pensions, healthcare, leave, and reward schemes.
• Reward strategy support including benchmarking, compensation reviews, and policy updates.
• Vendor and stakeholder management across payroll providers and HR teams.
• Leadership of a small team, setting standards for accuracy, pace, and service excellence.

What You Bring

• Strong leadership experience across UK payroll, benefits, and reward.
• Proven success delivering system upgrades, process redesign, or automation .
• Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Comfortable working hybrid from Leatherhead.
