Responsibilities:

Assist with the daily coordination of logistics and delivery operations. Coordinate with drivers, dispatch riders, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Monitor and track deliveries, shipments, and assigned routes. Follow up with drivers and dispatch teams to confirm pickup and delivery status. Assist in planning delivery schedules and assigning jobs based on available resources. Prepare and maintain delivery notes, waybills, dispatch records, invoices, and other operational documents. Update logistics records, shipment status, vehicle information, and delivery reports. Monitor vehicle and driver availability and report operational issues to the Operations Manager. Assist with coordinating vehicle maintenance, inspections, fueling, and repairs where required. Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, pickup arrangements, and other logistics enquiries. Follow up on delayed, failed, or incomplete deliveries and assist in resolving issues. Assist with monitoring fuel usage, mileage, trip records, and other vehicle-related information. Ensure drivers and logistics personnel comply with company procedures and safety requirements. Assist with inventory movement, loading, unloading, and warehouse coordination when required. Collect and verify proof of delivery and ensure documents are properly filed. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Identify operational challenges and escalate issues promptly to management. Assist in improving delivery processes, turnaround times, and overall operational efficiency. Perform other logistics and administrative duties assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field. Proven years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, warehouse, or operations support. Good understanding of logistics and delivery operations. Strong organizational and coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace. Experience using logistics, dispatch, GPS, fleet-tracking, or inventory-management systems is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability. Ability to track multiple deliveries and tasks simultaneously. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or public holidays when required. Ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
