Your Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the Operational Excellence (OPX) strategy at the Sarstedt plant and its sustainable implementation
• Steering and prioritization of all continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Development and standardization of value stream and production systems along the entire value chain
• Functional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of the OPX organization
• Building a sustainable Lean and Continuous Improvement culture through training and workshops
• Establishment of a performance management system including KPI structures
• Monitoring the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and performing necessary adjustments
• Regular reporting to the VP Ops
• Building close relationships with department heads, team leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of changes
• Leading cross-functional project teams

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of engineering, business administration, production technology, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of OPX, preferably in the metal industry
• Experience in leading teams and projects
• Sound knowledge of Lean methods and tools
• Experience with MES systems
• Good English skills
• Confident use of MS Office as well as basic knowledge of ERP systems
• Ideally experience with tools such as MS Planner, Visio, or Power BI
• Strong communication skills and the ability to act convincingly at all levels of the organization, empowering and motivating teams
• Team orientation and enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation
• Hands-on mentality and presence on the shop floor
• Analytical thinking skills combined with pragmatic solution orientation
• Initiative as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Sense of responsibility and assertiveness in implementation
