Cashier

Responsibilities:

Process customer purchases accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Receive cash, card, mobile, and other approved payments and provide correct change. Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. Greet customers politely and provide excellent customer service. Answer basic customer enquiries and assist customers with product-related questions. Verify prices, discounts, promotions, and quantities before completing transactions. Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash balances. Report pricing discrepancies, damaged products, or transaction issues to supervisors. Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and properly stocked with bags and other supplies. Assist with restocking shelves and other basic supermarket duties when required. Follow company procedures relating to cash handling, refunds, exchanges, and customer complaints. Maintain a professional appearance and comply with workplace health, safety, and security procedures. Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 years of experience A minimum of an HND in a related field
