We are currently looking for:
Procurement Supervisor
-Salary: $30,000 gross monthly. -Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Occasional Saturdays)
- Modality: On-site.
- Location: Agua Blanca, Estado de México
- Contract type: Fixed-term contract (1-year project).
Profile:
-Professional with experience in procurement, services, and industrial supplies, with commercial and negotiation skills, capable of developing strategic suppliers and generating efficiencies for the organization. -Special importance will be given to candidates with experience in the chemical sector or with a portfolio of clients and commercial contacts that add value to the business.
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and supervise the procurement of supplies, materials, and industrial services, indirects (Paper, EPP) -Identify, develop, and negotiate with strategic suppliers. Manage quotes, price comparisons, purchase orders, and delivery tracking. -Develop commercial relationships with clients and suppliers in the industrial and chemical sectors. -Detect business opportunities, new markets, and supply sources. -Negotiate prices, discounts, payment terms, delivery times, and contracts. -Generate savings strategies, cost optimization, and profitability improvement. -Evaluate and monitor supplier performance in quality, cost, service, and compliance. -Ensure compliance with policies and procedures. -Prepare procurement, savings, delivery compliance, and performance indicator reports. -Verify that supplies comply with technical specifications and applicable safety requirements. -Self-directed -Client portfolio (desirable) Toluca
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree or engineering in Administration, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Commerce, Business, or a related field. -Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, commercial negotiation, or acquisition of supplies and services.
Verifiable experience in at least one of the following areas:
-Industrial procurement, manufacturing, or supply of specialized materials. -Commercial development and client portfolio management in industrial markets. -Experience in negotiation with suppliers and analysis of commercial proposals. -Proficiency in Excel and preparation of quote comparisons. -Ability to develop commercial relationships and generate business opportunities.
Desirable:
-Having an active portfolio of clients, commercial contacts, or strategic relationships in the industrial sector. -Experience in procurement of specialized services, maintenance, logistics, or industrial supplies. Indirect supplies. -Proficiency in ERP, preferably SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems. -Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), handling, and storage of chemical products.
