Junior Associate Designer - Temp

Position Overview: Create detailed tech packs and turn in large quantities of styles while working with production and design teams to ensure standards are passed in a timely manner. Responsibilities: Assist Designers with ensuring sketches and scans match as tech packs are made. Set-up fabrication & reference pages in Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro for tech packs. Set-up & adjust styles – input adjustments & create new styles in PLM. Create and pass tech packs using Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Create & manage fabric and trim codes for production tech packs (PLM). Maintain/organize Excel sheets with large quantities of styles & daily updates. Assist team to ensure overseas factories and vendors are up to date with changes/ corrections. Qualifications/Experience: Degree in Product Development with an interest in technical design. Experience with the apparel design process from concept through to production Proficient in PLM, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop Proficient knowledge of fabrication/construction of garments.
