Your Mission

As a Senior Consultant WMS, you will take on a central role in our Digital Logistics projects. Together with our customers, you will develop functional WMS target images, structure complex requirements, and accompany projects from conception and system selection to implementation. In the process, you will lead sub-projects or smaller projects independently, manage customers and project teams, and further develop the professional skills of consultants.

What you will achieve:

• Management and support of demanding WMS projects from conception and specification to implementation
• Sub-project leadership of your project team - both functionally and personally
• Analysis and conception of complex warehouse, intralogistics, and system processes as well as development of suitable WMS target images
• Management of functional requirements management as well as creation of specifications and tender documents
• Planning and execution of vendor-neutral WMS selection processes including provider and system evaluation
• Planning and moderation of workshops as well as management of customer communication at project and department levels
• Management of tests, acceptances, and rollouts as well as ensuring quality, risks, and project progress

Your Profile

You combine sound logistics understanding with digital competence and can structure complex issues so that actionable solutions emerge.

• Completed studies, e.g., in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable
• Several years of experience in consulting, logistics, WMS, or digitalization projects
• Very good understanding of warehouse, intralogistics, and material flow processes
• Experience in requirements management and in the development of functional system concepts - ideally also in system selection and implementation
• Confident appearance towards customers and various stakeholders
• Strong analytical and communicative skills as well as enjoyment of moderation, collaboration, and the professional development of consultants
• Very good MS Office and English skills
• Willingness to travel - around 30% is a good guideline
