This is exactly why we are looking for you as an Expert Consultant WMS!

Your Mission

As an Expert Consultant WMS, you will work at the interface between logistics processes and IT. You will analyze requirements, develop functional solution concepts, and support our customers in selecting and successfully implementing suitable digital warehouse solutions. In doing so, you will independently take on work packages and initial sub-project responsibility.

What you will drive:

• Analysis and structuring of logistical processes and digital requirements
• Translation of operational process requirements into functional system requirements
• Collaboration in the creation of specifications, requirement catalogs, and tender documents
• Functional evaluation of WMS, WCS, and adjacent digital solutions
• Support during selection processes and vendor evaluations
• Analysis and preparation of logistical data as well as derivation of concrete recommendations for action
• Independent processing and management of defined work packages and smaller sub-projects
• Preparation and execution of workshops and customer meetings
• Presentation and functional representation of your results to the customer
• Support of WMS projects from conception to implementation
• Development of reusable methods, analysis modules, and project standards

Your Profile

You think analytically, work in a structured manner, and enjoy making logistics processes better through digital solutions.

What you bring to the table:

• Completed degree, e.g., in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable
• Experience in logistics, digitalization, or WMS projects
• Good understanding of warehouse, intralogistics, and material flow processes
• Ability to analyze processes in a structured way and translate them into understandable requirements
• Interest in topics such as WMS, WCS, automation, data, and digital process control
• Confident appearance in workshops and presentations
• Structured, independent, and quality-oriented way of working
• Good MS-Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Good English skills
• Willingness to travel - depending on the project
