Your tasks

Receives jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications as required from supervisor and performs work. Leads the team of technicians. Uses the right tools and equipment for the job and operates heavy-duty specialized tools taken from the central tool room. Operates basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine, etc. Performs all installation and maintenance work as per SATORP procedures and guidelines. Carries out necessary testing (hydro, pneumatic, etc.). Receives necessary work permits before starting work. Maintains strict compliance with SATORP safety standards. Consults with supervisor for any technical issues. Performs good housekeeping during and after completion of jobs. Achieves completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to company standards and requirements. Attends toolbox talks before commencing work. Complies with all safety, health, and environment standards and procedures. Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) beyond the mandatory requirements. Reports all near-misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas maintenance – high school. Minimum 8 years’ experience in oil and gas maintenance – diploma. Assists in analysis of recurrence of mechanical failures and recommends corrective actions. Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
