Job purpose

Lead and manage end-to-end execution of offshore oil & gas projects for ADNOC, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and HSE requirements. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams, EPC contractors, and ADNOC stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Project planning & execution

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource strategies.

Manage all phases of offshore projects (FEED, EPC, commissioning, handover).

Ensure adherence to ADNOC project management frameworks and standards.

Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as required.

Stakeholder management

Act as the primary interface with ADNOC offshore stakeholders.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and vendors.

Budget & cost control

Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.

Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality and safety.

Track variations, claims, and contract changes.

Risk & compliance management

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in audits, safety reviews, and risk assessments.

Contract & vendor management

Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors performance.

Review and administer contracts, ensuring deliverables meet specifications.

Handle contractual disputes, variations, and claims.

Health, safety & environment (HSE)

Ensure strict compliance with ADNOC HSE guidelines.

Promote a strong safety culture across offshore operations.

Conduct regular site visits, safety inspections, and toolbox meetings.

Reporting & documentation

Prepare and present periodic project reports to senior management.

Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Ensure timely communication of project status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications & experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical, or petroleum).

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.

Experience

12–18 years’ experience in oil & gas, with at least 5–8 years in offshore project management.

Proven experience working on ADNOC offshore projects (mandatory/highly preferred).

Strong exposure to EPC project environments.

Technical skills

Knowledge of offshore construction, fabrication, and installation.

Familiarity with ADNOC standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).

Soft skills

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Problem-solving and decision-making capability in high-pressure environments.
