KBR Abu Dhabi is currently looking to fill a position of Specialist Procurement Quality – Engineer for an offshore project to be based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain office and then return to Abu Dhabi.

The Procurement Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and delivery of materials and equipment required for offshore projects. The role focuses on expediting vendor activities, monitoring production schedules, resolving delays, and coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, inspection agencies, and project teams to meet project milestones.

Key responsibilities

Ensure supplier and vendor compliance with project quality requirements.

Review and approve procurement quality documents, ITPs, QCPs, procedures, and vendor quality plans.

Coordinate vendor inspections, audits, and surveillance activities.

Monitor manufacturing and fabrication activities at supplier facilities.

Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality deviations.

Ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications, project standards, ISO requirements, and international codes such as ASME, API, and ASTM.

Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Expediting, Construction, and QA/QC teams.

Prepare procurement quality reports and support project quality reviews.

Typical requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or related discipline).

Extensive Oil & Gas EPC experience, often 15+ years for specialist-level roles.

Strong experience in offshore projects and procurement quality management.

Previous ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Experience with vendor inspections, supplier audits, FATs, and manufacturing quality control.

Professional certifications such as ASQ CQE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent are advantageous.
