Construction And Commissioning Engineer

Your tasks

Construction & commissioning engineers with refinery and petrochemical startup/commissioning experience. Preference should be given to candidates from the Western Region, as the work location will be Yanbu.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
• Mandatory: Saudi Aramco project experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and system handover activities.
• Supervise and coordinate construction activities in compliance with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, vendors, and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
• Manage mechanical completion, punch list closure, system turnover, and handover documentation.
• Execute pre-commissioning activities including flushing, pressure testing, loop checking, and functional testing.
• Lead commissioning and start-up activities for process, utility, and support systems.
• Support troubleshooting, performance testing, and final handover to operations.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and project close-out documentation.
• Experience in Saudi Aramco brownfield and greenfield projects, utilities, tank farms, pipelines, and industrial facilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
