Project Manager to KB Components AB

We are looking for you who is a Bachelor's or Master's engineer in mechanical or chemical engineering with a genuine interest in industrial manufacturing technology. You are well acquainted with the APQP process. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as drive, responsibility, the ability to make your own decisions, well-organized, structured, and cost/quality conscious. Knowledge of polymeric materials is meritorious. Good English in speech and writing is necessary.

As a project manager, you will be the spider in the web in customer projects, from quotation to approved product. You ensure good communication internally and externally and, together with the rest of the project organization, you contribute to the projects reaching set goals regarding time, quality, and economy. Your responsibility will be to follow up and quality assure the production of new items when they move from the development stage to series production. You will plan, coordinate, and follow up on activities within the company and at customers to ensure a rapid stabilization of new products. The role requires a skilled person with good practical experience and understanding of both the commercial and technical sides of projects, primarily within automotive. An important part of the work is to fully implement and ensure our project model globally.

You report to Technology Director and the location is in Örkelljunga. The position includes travel, both domestic and international. KB Components has a turnover of approx. 900 MSEK and has a long tradition in the development and production of technically advanced plastic components. With quality as our primary motto, we lead the development within the plastics industry, where our vision is to be world leaders regarding technically advanced polymeric products for demanding industrial applications. You can find our customer segments within both light vehicles, heavy vehicles, the furniture industry, medical technology, and other industries. Development, production, and sales take place in one of our facilities in Anderstorp, Örkelljunga, Kaunas in Lithuania, Puebla in Mexico, Zilina in Slovakia, or Wuxi in China.
