Your tasks

The Lifeguard is an important member of our team attentively supervising the pool area and helping ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for every guest.

• Supervise guests in and around the pool, identify hazards and intervene promptly when safety is at risk.
• Explain and enforce pool rules, and warn guests about unsafe activities.
• Rescue swimmers in distress and provide first aid, CPR or AED assistance when needed.
• Check pool facilities, rescue equipment and surrounding areas; report hazards or faults immediately.
• Open and close the pool according to the daily schedule and applicable safety procedures.
• Keep the pool area and furniture clean and safe, follow emergency plans and call for additional help when required.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, a valid qualification to work as a pool lifeguard and current first aid, CPR and AED certification.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably at a four- or five-star hotel; good spoken and written Greek and English.
• Strong swimming and water rescue skills, physical fitness and knowledge of aquatic emergency procedures.
• Friendly, clear communication, a professional manner and the ability to remain alert and organized throughout the shift; another language is an advantage.
