Are you an expert in the field of accounting, with many years of practice and experience in leading an accounting team? Perhaps we are looking for exactly you.

We are looking for a new member for our 8-person team for the position:

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT (m/f)

From a successful candidate, we expect:

• University education in an economic field
• excellent knowledge of accounting, tax, and related laws
• at least 8 years of experience in the field
• experience with the application of VAT when acquiring goods from the EU, importing goods, supplying goods to the EU, and exporting
• knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) is an advantage
• excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• knowledge of the Helios Nephrite information system is an advantage
• knowledge of the English language at least at level B1
• driving license group B
• experience in team leadership
• goal-orientedness, systemic and analytical thinking
• responsibility, conscientiousness, independence, and a willingness to learn new things

What will be your job description?

• invoicing according to ČÚS
• classification and accounting of assets
• processing monthly VAT returns, control, and summary statements
• closing operations, inventory of accounts
• cooperation during the inventory of stocks and assets
• preparation of documents for semi-annual and annual audits, cooperation with auditors
• cooperation in the processing of tax returns
• active participation in improving accounting processes
